Last week we received a young lady from switzerland, Marie Sophie. She wanted to learn kiyesurfing in the last three days of her week vacation in Mallorca, so she paid the membership fee and became a kite club member of Asociación Aprende a Navegar, next thing, Marie took the first 3 hours kite lessons which are included on the membership fee
She performed from the early stages of her training, with a lot of attention and on the third hour of its kite lessons, she, amazingly started with the first waterstarts
Through the pictures and videos of this blog entry we will see how Marie gained enough control through her kite lessons the necessary control of the kite to start waterstarting and progressing with ease, standing up on the kiteboard and riding nicely in both directions
The equipment that Marie used during her kite lessons were a Flysurfer kite, Peak model of 12 mts size and the kiteboard a Flysurfer XL model 170×50, then, switched to a more advanced inflatable kite
We are happy to see how consistently our pretty kite student was able to ride, surprisingly well, Marie resulted a skilled lady who thanks to her interest and attention during her learning, successfully profited her first day of lessons
Something rather unusual, so we wish her a successful kitesurfing life while we remain looking forward to have her again among us in the future.
